Online Strategies Ltd - and all our portal and sister sites - (defined in this policy as HospitalityOnline.co.uk) are committed to protecting the privacy of our users. We use best practises to ensure that the information you submit remains private. We have a strict code of practise in order to comply with our obligations under the 1998 Data Protection Act. For your protection, and our commitment to you we are registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 - No: (P)Z28137778. The details you supply as part of the services available to you on this, and are stored by us are used to provide you with the accurate information you have requested. You are at liberty to change this information accordingly.

CV's

Hoteljobs.co.uk is an online job and career site; therefore we give you the option of putting your CV into our database. There are several ways of doing this. (1) You may store your CV in our database, but not allow it to be searchable. Not allowing your CV to be searchable still means that you can use it to apply for a job online. Recruiters who purchase or CV search package will not have access to it. (2) Or, you can store it in our database and allow it to be searchable without containing any personal information. If you allow your resume to be searchable, then all recruiters who pay for access to our CV database product will have access to your CV. As part of our registration process you may choose to make your personal details anonymous, whilst simultaneously marketing your CV. Should you receive a response from a search you can choose to reveal your information at this stage.

We use our best efforts to grant access to the CV database to paying customers only, such as employers, recruiters, agency's, HR professionals, consultants (this list is not meant to be exhaustive). However, we are not responsible if a third party, posing as the aforementioned and paying for the service, evades security measures and gains access to our database, and, subsequently, your CV. You may remove your CV from our searchable database at any time, but please bear in mind that customers who have access to our CV search facility may have retained a copy of your CV. In these cases we are not responsible for the retention of, use of, copy of, or the privacy of any CV in these instances.

It is important to remember that your current employer may be a customer of HotelJobs.co.uk, or a client of one of our customers. HotelJobs.co.uk cannot reasonably restrict customers who pay for the CV search package and therefore cannot be held responsible for any eventuality that may arise. Please know that our customer base is global.

It is important that your details, CV and contact details are kept up to date. You should update your CV at least every six months, particularly if your contact and CV details have changed. Once your CV is on our database we will contact you every six months using your most recent contact details to ask whether you want it to remain there.

Hospitalityonline.co.uk reserves the right to remove from our database CVs that include any content that we consider to be illegal, abusive or offensive. We will also remove a CV if we receive a valid complaint, which has been made against it. We operate regular policing of our database.

Information we may Use

As part of the registration process we may use your information for the following reasons: internal record keeping; employment analysis, demographic statistics, emailing job alerts, sending newsletters, and to make you aware of additional products and services which may be of interest to you, or to contact you regarding site changes and promotions. We may from time to time also ask you for other information, such as information on your interests, your feedback regarding the site, the types of jobs you are interested in, your opinion on activities within the industry, and your re-action to industry news items � all in an effort to deliver to you the best possible site experience. On all our email correspondence you can unsubscribe or opt out from receieving any further emails, or contact us by telephone, or send a reply email to us, or complete our contact form on this website.

Information Disclosure

We do not disclose any personal information that you provide, we also do not disclose information such as your name, e-mail address, home or business address, telephone numbers, or credit card details to any outside parties, except when we believe it is required by law or to protect HotelJobs.co.uk. We do not sell, rent or exchange any of our lists of job seekers or employers with other companies.

Username

A username on this site should be created by the user and should be totally unique to the user. It is important that you do not disclose your username to anybody else. We keep a record of all usernames and can identify who they belong to. Once recorded your username cannot be changed by yourselves. If you feel your username has been compromised in any way plesae contact us immediately and we will advise you what to do.

Passwords

Any information that you upload is protected by your password and may only be accessed by you. It does not form part of the HotelJobs.co.uk CV database and cannot be searched or accessed by Hospitalityonline.co.uk customers. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your information and password. You shall be responsible for all uses of your registration, whether or not authorised by you. You agree to immediately notify the Company of any unauthorised use of your registration or password.

Feedback

Hoteljobs.co.uk has an area on the site where you can submit feedback. Any feedback that is submitted through this area � or any feedback emailed directly to us - becomes the property of Hoteljobs.co.uk. We may use this feedback for marketing purposes, or to contact you for further feedback on the site.

Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by us on your computer that enable us to identify your computer when you access the HotelJobs.co.uk web site. They are also there to protect the integrity of registered user names and passwords. We also use them to help us understand and monitor the usage of the site and make improvements. You have the option of setting your browser to reject cookies, however please bear in mind this may have a negative impact on using our site.

Children using the site

We do not specifically collect information about children. We believe that children should get their parents' consent before giving out any personal information. We encourage you to use Web filtering technology to supervise your child's access to the site

Site Statistical Information

HotelJobs.co.uk monitors all visitor information, e.g. pages that are visited most frequently, times visited, referral sites etc. This information is called site statistics. This data does not include any personally identifying information whatsoever. We may also from time to time provide statistical information from our site to recruiters, agents, consultants and other reputable third parties - such as the number of active CVs, or the number of job postings, or the number of visitors to our site.
