Waterfront Bosun
Destinations: Kos (Greece) and Turkey
We are actively seeking a Waterfront Bosun to come work in one of our stunning Mediterranean beach resorts.
This pivotal role supports our beach team ensuring that all our sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and stand up paddleboards are safe, functional and maintained to the high standards set by Mark Warner and the RYA.
It’s not all work and no play though! You could learn a new sport, get out on the water or explore exciting new places with like-minded friends.
We’ve a strong management team that provides on-going support and training. There are opportunities to further develop your own skills, gain new qualifications and a development programme for career progression with the prospect to work year-round in one of our chalet hotels in top European ski destinations.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage waterfront spares stock control
- Manage maintenance programme to include on-going fibre glass and plastic repairs
- Introduce a waterfront maintenance reporting system
- Ensure a safe, tidy work shop and space at all times
- Risk assessment; health and safety management
- Arrange regular fleet checks and preventative maintenance
- Arrange fuel deliveries, storage and safety
- Vehicle maintenance and supplies collection
- Liaise with management on additional stock, capital expenditure and potential issues
- Work with local suppliers
- Manage guests requirements
- Assist all aspects of waterfront responsibilities when required

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience maintaining watersports equipment
- Fibreglass repair experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- RYA Dinghy or Windsurf Instructor, RYA Powerboat Level 2 or RYA Safety Boat desired but not essential
- First Aid
- UK/EU Passport holder
- UK National Insurance Number
- UK bank account
