Job Description

Milford Hall Hotel & Spa is a 4-star Hotel, located in Central Salisbury. We are actively looking to recruit a Reception Manager to lead the busy Reception team. The ideal person will need to previous Hotel Reception experience, using the Welcome PMS system would be a benefit.

Shifts will usually consist of either early or lates, any 5 of 7 days including weekends.

We are looking for someone with personality, a people person who is comfortable in meeting and speaking with new people. Our Reception Manager will also be able to demonstrate great customer service skills and ensure customer expectations are pro-actively met with a high level of attention to detail. This position requires a high level of administration duties The successful candidate will also be able to consistently meet deadlines and understand the importance of maximising revenue and occupancy levels in the hotel.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

  • To be able to demonstrate consistent compliance with hotel standards defined for service delivery, product presentation, systems of work and customer interaction
  • Daily management of online rates, working with OTA's to maximise revenue potential
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Team motivation to produce consistent results
  • To consistently be able to demonstrate professional behaviours with decisions taken in line with the Company and the Hotel’s values.
  • To consistently reflect on the needs and perspectives of customers when taking action and planning activity.
  • To be able to proactively minimise risk to staff, customers and contractors fostering a strong Health & Safety culture at all times.

  • Due to location own transport is essential along with reliability
