Position Title: Commercial Reporting Analyst

Position Summary:

A fantastic new opportunity is available for a Reporting Analyst to join our commercial team, based at our Head Office in Liverpool city centre, were you will get the opportunity to display your passion and skills in one of the most exciting businesses in the UK.

As a Reporting Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for the development, maintenance and automation of an MI reporting suite, that supports day to day decision making and the planning process. These will deliver detailed analysis and insight that informs actionable business decisions.

Commercial Reporting Analyst Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of reports, scorecards, dashboards and analytic tools to support information-based decision making and predictive analytics to inform decisions
  • Deliver reporting service on time and within compliance and quality expectations
  • Ad-hoc analysis on processes and systems
  • Providing admin and support to the operational sales support teams
  • Assist in development of group trading calendar and refined planning process
  • Work with the commercial and operational teams to understand business needs performance management
  • Deliver reporting service on time and within compliance and quality expectations
  • Ad-hoc analysis on processes and systems
  • Develop good working relationships with internal technical and non-technical teams

Prerequisites:

Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
Comfortable dealing with all levels of stakeholders.
Advanced Excel skills and proficient with SQL/SAS.
Ability to turn to complex data into meaningful insight.

Sales and Forecasting experience.
Have a high-level attention to detail.
Able to work at pace in a competing and progressive environment.

Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.

Experience:

Previous analytical role and 2/3 years Sales and Forecasting reporting experience.

Education:

Numeracy degree or qualified by experience
