Maintenance/Pool Plant Assistant - Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa - Chippenham

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance/Pool Plant Assistant to join the team at Lucknam Park.  The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Pool and Plant with extensive ‘hands-on’ experience and have a proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance/Pool Plant Assistant:

• To carry out maintenance tasks as required across the property including spa
• Ensure compliance with regards to all health and safety and fire regulations within the hotel
• Pool and plant general maintenance – Pool and Plant qualification would be an advantage  
• Complete maintenance log as required
• Work alongside contractors to ensure tasks are completed as per requirements

Skills and experience required to fulfil the Maintenance/Pool Plant Assistant role:

• Extensive experience as a Maintenance and/or Pool Plant Assistant - within a hotel would be preferable but not essential
• Qualified by experience, qualifications in Pool and Plant required
• Practical working knowledge of all aspects of maintenance, health & safety and fire regulations
• Guest focused with excellent communication skills
• Very hands-on person, self-motivated, with a very proactive approach to maintenance
• Keen eye for detail

We are offering a competitive salary plus service charge following successful completion of 3 month probationary period, working hours will be 40 over 5 days including weekends and Bank/Public Holidays.
