Night Porter - Ragdale Hall Spa, Melton Mowbray

Part Time

£9.63 per hour plus a generous benefits package.  Benefits package including £900 per annum in gratuities (full time equivalent), free meals on duty, uniform, transport from Melton Mowbray and Asfordby, use of gymnasium and much more.

Hours of work:

18 hours per week worked over 2 nights 10.00 pm – 8.00 am. These hours are flexible based on required holiday cover for the department. This means you may work 3/4 shifts one week and not work the next but will be paid consistently for the two shifts per week. This role would suit someone with good flexibility. The rota works on an 8 week pattern so you should know your shifts well in advance

About this position:

This is a great opportunity to join our Front of House Team. Working closely with the Duty Manager and Reception you will be responsible for the welfare of the Hall and the needs of the guests during the night.

Main duties are as follows:

• To take responsibility for the safety, security of the Hall and care of guests and staff throughout the night
• Where necessary to carry out regular security checks of the hall and grounds including the car park.
• To assist guests with requests and enquiries as necessary
• To offer a limited provision of drinks
• To be aware of your responsibilities in the event of a fire alarm and be fully conversant with how to operate the fire alarm panel
• To clean areas as laid out in the audit sheet, ensuring all areas are cleaned, polished, washed and hoovered and kept clean to the highest standards

Qualifications and skills required:

Full training will be given but applicants must be well presented, friendly and confident with a good awareness of customer care.
