Chef de Partie - Maidstone 

My client is a 4* hotel with 2 rosettes. They are located in a stunning rural setting in Kent but are only a short journey from London. They serve vibrant, seasonal dishes using locally sourced ingredients. They are looking for a Chef de Partie to join their buy brigade. 

As Chef de Partie your role will be to work on all sections of the kitchen as required and to support senior members of the kitchen brigade. You will be given further and ongoing training to develop your skills as a chef, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a high quality establishment with great career prospects.

Your responsibilities & duties will include:

Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you
Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus
Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins

The hours of work are 45 per week. Live in accommodation is available at £53 p/w
