Immediate start, 2/3 week contract with potential to extend through to the end of the season (August)

Our bread and butter…!

Our kitchens are the heart of our Club Hotels and we’re looking for individuals who share our passion for food, leadership and fun!  As a Head Chef for Skibound you will be responsible for developing and managing your very own team, creating and delivering exciting meal concepts and being a crucial part of our operational team.

What the mountains are lacking in snow during the Summer, they definitely make up for in the beautiful scenery and outdoor pursuits! The place you’ll call home is Alpe D’Huez, a busy ski resort during the winter and amazing location for a summer to remember. You’ll even get to see the Tour De France!

With our summer programme being mostly adult guests- we have a really keen focus on customer service and giving them an experience to remember. You’ll be super friendly at all times, be willing to work hard and get stuck in across job roles.

You’ll have time to enjoy everything summer in the mountains has to offer, think watching sunsets over the mountains, bbqs by the lakes, hiking through forests or speeding down the mountain on one of the many mountain bike trails. We’ll make sure that once you’ve done the hard work, you’ll have time to play hard, or chill and work on that perfect tan…

Not forgetting the formal bits…

A qualification in catering and/or professional cookery, experience dealing with high volume covers, managing/supervising a team, and a real drive to work efficiently to enjoy your time on the mountains with your team!
