Your role in our family:

  • Responsible for all maintenance issues within the hotel, and overseeing the engineering team of 9 to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience
  • Perform daily maintenance checks throughout the hotel and spa
  • Considering and resolving any maintenance issues that are operational, environmental or ecological
  • Develop, implement, and direct all emergency programs
  • Implementing preventative maintenance programs
  • Routine maintenance upgrade works including basic plumbing and electrical works, plastering and tiling
  • Manage the Gardeners on garden project activities to ensure they are carried out on schedule and within allocated budgets, employing the assistance of external labour/organisations where necessary
  • Carry out duties to daily defects reports from other departments ensuring H&S compliance at all times
  • Ensure monitoring and standards of planned maintenance
  • Organising and supervision of contractors performing tasks that are beyond the capabilities of the maintenance staff through reasons of lack of time or expertise
  • Enforcing legislative requirements in all areas of responsibility which include but are not limited to H&S and Spa water compliance.
  • Managing expenditure and budgets

What would make you the perfect fit?

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, within a 4/5* Hotel environment
  • Experience of managing a team of 10 or more
