Leisure Attendants atour Marriott Hotels & Country Clubs specialise in providing excellentleisure facilities to guests. As part ofour family of associates you will host a blend of guests & events includingweddings, golf, corporate guests & leisure visitors.

Job Summary

To professionally processall enquiries to establish the confidence of the customer

To process all bookingsand reservations to maximize revenue opportunities

To implement and monitorall Club rules to ensure all revenue is correctly processed

To promote a Club ambiencefor Members and visitors to increase the appeal of the Health and Leisurefacilities

To carry out other dutiesas may be required to ensure the Hotel Operation is properly maintained toprovide total guest satisfaction

Provide a warm welcome to guests and professionally converse with them to ensure that they are at ease. Maintain up to date knowledge of products and services to promote and answer guest queries Maximise opportunities for upselling, including retail products, to contribute to departmental profitability. Ensure all areas of the leisure department fully comply with all relevant Health & Safety regulations. Complete closing duties as required including cash handling/banking in line with policy. Undertake regular training and development as necessary Report any maintenance or security issues to supervisors To handle all duties according to hotel policies, procedures, internal rules and standards, conforming to cash handling procedures at all times. Be knowledgeable about the daily operations/classes in the club. To handle all messages and/or mail in the correct manner, ensuring confidentiality of guest/member information at all times. To ensure that personal appearance and company/hotel grooming standards are complied with at all times. To maintain tidiness in all Club areas and to maintain a tidy, safe and clean appearance of the Club and ancillary areas. To ensure that the fitness equipment, fabric, furniture and fittings are maintained in an operational, clean and tidy condition at all times. To assist with general duties in the Club, to ensure the smooth running of the department
