Key tasks & responsibilities:

• To provide both internal and external customers with a secure, comfortable environment at all times
• Maintain the hotel’s assets through ongoing preventive maintain programs
• Ensure adherence to applicable laws by meeting with government and insurance inspectors
• Ensure all mechanical systems are operating in accordance with corporate policies and procedures and local requirements and regulations
• Manage departmental expenditure and capital budget
• Work closely with General Manager and Operations Manager on all operational issues
• Manage team members for the engineering function and ensure that they have relevant skills, training and development to ensure continuous success
• Be fully conversant on hotel emergency procedures, fire, Health and Safety training
• Continuously seek to endeavour and improve the departments' efficient operation and knowledge

We are looking for

• 4/5 years of relevant experience in hotel environment
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
• Technical and maintenance experience
• In-depth knowledge in Electrical and Plumbing environment 
• Must have excellent attention to detail
