The Ship at Parkgate is a bustling foodie pub with 25 guest rooms that sits right on the stunning Parade. The pub focuses on local fresh food and drink with a menu that changes regularly. Its traditional features and cosy surrounding create and friendly and relaxing dining experience. The Ship is due to have a major re-furb in the New Year and these exciting plans include an extended dining area and a roof top terrace.  We are currently looking for a Senior Chef de Partie to join our team.

We have been working hard since reopening to ensure we have implemented all the necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of our customers and teams whilst maintaining the high standards our guests expect from us.

With popularity continuing to grow the team needs to as well so we are currently looking for a SENIOR CHEF DE PARTIE to assist in our busy kitchen and further strengthen our team.

We are passionate about food and prepare everything in house to a high standard using fresh and local produce. Our menus reflect this and change regularly. This is an excellent opportunity for any chef de looking for a progressive and challenging role.

PAY

£9.25-£9.50 per hour + generous tips + employee discounts and benefits

HOURS OF WORK

The position is full-time, minimum of 35 hours per week, including evening & weekend work.

The Ship is run by the Stange & Co pub group.  We are an expanding family company that puts our teams first, we realise it’s our teams and their hard work that make our pubs successful and we like to look after our teams and reward them for their hard work.  We don’t open for food on Christmas Day, so you’ll be able to enjoy it with your family or in someone else’s pub! Even the odd weekend off now and then, isn’t out the question.
