Accommodation Cleaning Team Leader

Sandy Balls Holiday Village, Fordingbridge

£10.50 per hour plus benefits

Full time and part time available.

Start Date- March 2021 (may change due to government guidance) 

What we need in a nutshell

We are currently looking for Cleaning team leaders to supervise and manage Accommodation Cleaners as well as rolling your sleeves up and getting accommodation ready when needed. Our busiest days are Mondays and Friday and we have both full and part time hours available.

You will be responsible for the cleanliness, standards and the quality and coordination of the work of the Cleaning Team allocated to you in a variation of accommodation grades.

What you’ll be doing

  • To supervising members of the allocated cleaning teams in the course of their cleaning and preparation of accommodation and other areas of cleaning.
  • To check the performance of the allocated cleaning teams in the undertaking of their cleaning and preparation of accommodation and other areas of cleaning.
  • To check that accommodation and other areas have been cleaned, prepared and provisioned to our standards and specifications.
  • To comply with all Company policies and procedures, for example, health & safety, COSHH.
  • To ensure the delivery of hire goods, inventory and additional items as required.
  • To report any item damaged, broken or needing repair or maintenance to the Accommodation Manager.
  • To improve the efficiency and effectiveness of all cleaning team.

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you’ll need to work your magic on bank holidays and weekends too.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need

  • Previous experience within an accommodation department within a high-volume hospitality business
  • Experience managing teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and communicate well.
  • Be Customer focused with a Friendly & helpful attitude
  • Be Calm a methodical character but of strong character…this is a busy place!
  • Attention to detail even little ones and high standards
