Laundry Linen Porter - Forest Row

 Overview

The role of the Linen Porter is to assist the friendly on site Laundry and Housekeeping teams with all the table linen, bed linen, towels and related linens for the hotel. The role involves clearing the corridors and Linen Storage Rooms of dirty linen throughout the day, delivering and maintaining the required stock levels of linen and supplies within the Linen Storage Rooms.

Due to our rural location you will require you own transport.

Experience

Relevant experience gained in a hotel an advantage, however all necessary training will be given to candidates who can demonstrate a commitment to high standards, efficiency and a willingness to learn.  A good command of English language and the ability to work in an organised and conscientious manner.

  • Polite and personable with good customer service skills
  • Well presented
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Good command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • A positive personality giving service with a smile

This is a full time role, working five days over seven, including weekends and evenings, so flexibility is required.
