Tips typically over £200 per month (£2,400 per year)

40 Hour permanent contract working 5 days out of 7. 

Grantley Hall is an exclusive, five star luxury hotel and wellness retreat, nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. With 47 exquisite rooms and suites, four exceptional restaurants and three sophisticated bars. The extensive development has also included the introduction of a tranquil spa and pioneering ELITE luxury gym and executive wellness facility, alongside a stunning events pavilion that seats up to 180 guests with a unique and glamorous champagne and cocktail bar.

We are currently recruiting for a Hotel Porter to join our Front Office and Concierge team at Grantley Hall. The Hotel Porter is the front face of Grantley Hall, providing a warm and authentic Yorkshire welcome to all our guests.

The Role

  • Ensuring that every guest has an excellent and memorable welcome and stay at the hotel, enjoying excellent service and hospitality.
  • Attending to guest requests and requirements throughout their stay.
  • Assisting other areas of the hotel when required.
  • Supporting guests with their luggage needs and work closely with the reception team to ensure a thorough process is adopted.
  • Previous experience in a Front of House department essential, preferably in a 5* establishment.
  • Full, clean driving licence.

  • Experience in understanding, delivering and exceeding guest expectations
  • Fluent in written and verbal English
  • Great attitude and a willingness to be flexible! Be prepared for the odd curveball or more
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt according to business needs
