Overview of the role
Our Resort in Bognor are recruiting for a gardening team member to join the Garden's team.

As a Gardener on our resort you will be ensuring that the maintenance requirements within the resort is maintained to the current high standards and will carry out effective garden maintenance including grass cutting, management and maintenance of shrubs, hedges, flower beds and trees.

We will be looking for you to bring a high standard of presentation to the front of house areas and carry out a range of ground duties including litter clearance, as well as having the ability to be a hands-on part of the maintenance team.

There may be other adhoc duties you will be asked to perform outside of your normal day to day role within the gardens team.

This team predominantly work Monday to Friday, 7am until 3.30pm, with some weekend working required in the late summer period. These hours may change due to the demands of the business needs.

Key responsibilities and duties may include:
Working as part of a team maintaining the resort grounds
Using ride on grass cutting mowers and hand-held petrol driven machinery
Weeding/digging to maintain garden planted areas
Hedge trimming and tree pruning
Ad hoc duties within the Facilities department

Requirements
The ideal candidate should have
Full UK driver licence - Desirable - (age 21 for driving resort vehicles)
Have good communication skills
Be a committed Team Player including being flexible and enthusiastic
Be passionate about delivering exceptional Customer Service
Have a problem-solving attitude
Confident to work on own initiative as necessary
Previous Grounds maintenance/Gardening experience preferred but not essential
