Location: THE PIG in the South Downs, West Sussex. 

Hours: Full Time

Salary: £10 Per Hour, Plus Service Charge.  Our Pay Promise – no one in our business will earn less than £10 Per Hour, plus service charge. Whilst Service Charge varies depending on bookings with the staycation concept thriving, you can do the maths.

As part of the reception team at THE PIG you will play key role in our guest’s experience.  It's not just about carrying bags but being one of the first people to welcome the guests into the hotel and making them feel truly at home.

As a Porter at THE PIG, you will discover that no day is the same. You will carry out various duties, including welcoming and guiding guests, to assisting them with their luggage and check in/out. From time to time, you may also be required to carry out additional duties including, assisting other departments, carrying out safety checks and hotel inspections.

No experience is required, as a Porter you will just need confidence and commitment along with being a naturally warm and welcoming person.  You will need the ability to follow direction and be willing to be a part of the team in all that you do.  This is a physically demanding role but one where you can make a real difference to a great guest experience.
