Reward & Recognition Officer - Swindon

Summary

We’re looking for a Reward & Recognition Officer to support the design and implementation of the Trust's reward and recognition strategy. You’ll have a background in either Reward or HR and you will receive training and development in this specialised field once you’ve joined the team.
You’ll help engage our people on things such as pay policies, benefits and job evaluation, which in turn will help ensure we can recruit and retain great people. You’ll confidently manage and analyse HR data, using your insight to coach a variety of stakeholders and influence policy, process and ways of working.

What it's like to work here

We've got passionate people in all our teams, and we've got so much more we want to achieve. We're for ever, for everyone and we really mean that. We don't want to stop at 5.5 million members, and we want everyone to feel welcome and enjoy access to our places, so we need to reach new audiences in ways that are meaningful and relevant to them without losing the hearts and minds of those that are already with us.
Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree remote working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust. As a small team we work very closely, and even remotely, we are a close-knit team. If you thrive in collaborative working culture where learning is constant, then this role is for you.

What you'll be doing

You’ll provide specialist Reward advice and guidance to the wider people team and people managers, ensuring that all Reward elements are managed consistently, fairly and are compliant with employment legislation.
You’ll be involved in developing, maintaining, and communicating new and existing benefits and recognition tools, ensuring the Reward portfolio meets the needs of our diverse range of people and increases motivation and engagement. You’ll work closely with the Reward & Recognition Manager and a small Reward team on all the annual Reward activities.
You’ll be responsible for the maintenance of our role profile library ensuring the integrity of the job grading structure within the National Trust and you’ll also be directly involved in our job evaluation process.

  • Experience of using Excel
