We are delighted to announce we are looking for a Trainee Manager to join the brand-new multi-million pound Northallerton Inn, the former Police Station in the market town of Northallerton, North Yorkshire which is currently under development and due to open later this year.

With 32 bedrooms offering guests a very different experience to those enjoyed previously by residents in the police station's former guise, we are looking for a team, that is made up of people who live and breathe our Inn Collection Values of Customer Focus, Courage, Execution, Honesty, Respect and Results.

Due to an internal promotion we have a great opportunity for a Trainee Manager to join the team. With this position comes great potential for development and advancement within a rapidly growing organisation.

A successful Trainee Manager will:

  • Be highly motivated with a focus on customer service.
  • Have a strong background in food and hospitality
  • Assist the management team in their daily duties and running of the unit.
  • Report to General Manager.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage, motivate and develop a team of staff to achieve Company Standards.
  • Liaise with Chefs, Hotel Management, and Suppliers.
  • Stocktake and order.

Trainee Manager duties include:

  • Day to day shift running in a busy, fast paced environment.
  • Supporting the General Manager and the management team to deliver against our company values.
  • Managing the team to support excellent service delivery.
  • Daily and weekly administrative tasks in line with the operation of a busy food and beverage operation.
