Audrey’s is a brand new, bright and bustling all-day café, restaurant and bar situated on a vibrant pedestrian square in London’s historic Bankside. Due to open its doors in April. This unique former Victorian building will be home to an open kitchen, bar and café offering informal drinking and dining throughout the day. The kitchen is inspired by modern bistros using ingredients sourced locally, favouring British, organic and sustainable produce. The bar focuses on a simple and concise cocktail menu, offering classically inspired, unpretentious drinks, alongside a range of interesting modern wines from independent, biodynamic and organic producers.What we are:Local, personable, knowledgeable, warm and genuine. Front of House Staff Responsibilities:

  • Directing early arrivals to the bar as they wait for their tables to become available.
  • Ushering diners to their tables and providing them with menus.
  • Accepting and informing the relevant staff about food and beverage requests.
  • Transporting food orders from the kitchen to each pertinent table.
  • Clearing glassware, silverware, and crockery from each table once guests have completed their meals, or upon request.
  • Providing guests with their checks after the meal sitting.
  • Clearing and reporting breakages by diners.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or suitable equivalent.
  • Proven experience in the position of interest.
  • Wearing and maintaining the prescribed uniform.
  • Excellent verbal communication and memorisation skills.
  • Great interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to remain composed, particularly during stressful or uncomfortable circumstances.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willingness to perform additional duties to facilitate the restaurant's operations, as needed.
