Better Children's Centres are looking for an experienced receptionist and administrator to ensure the smooth running of the administration and front-line reception functions are carried out at any of our Children's Centres. You'll have responsibility to manage reception services on a daily basis ensuring our offer is of a high standard, admin deadlines are met and the families and other visitors receive a consistently high standard service.

 

Children's Centres provide an invaluable resource to the communities that we operate within and provide support to the most vulnerable families ensuring children under 5 are given equality in their early life chances as well as learning and guidance opportunities to help families live more fulfilling lives.

 

Understanding your role within the team is essential allowing you to be efficient, welcoming, creative and adaptable and all carried out with helpfulness and a smile. As an administrator you will need to be comfortable working on a number of tasks at any one time as a typical day could see you juggling many tasks. This is a busy role but very rewarding. Your excellent organisation, customer care skills, first class communication and the determination will see the job gets done. Oh and a great sense of humour will help!
