Facilities Manager - Maidenhead

Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a well organised Facilities Manager to work at Cliveden. We’re looking for the right person to ensure our properties and facilities are looked after, well maintained and compliant on a twelve-month fixed term contract.

Salary range £25,662 -27,300 depending on experience.




What it's like to work here

Cliveden’s Italianate mansion, riverside setting and family-friendly events draw visitors all year round, making this property a busy location with a wide range of opportunities. There is always plenty to do at the 375-acre estate, with conservation of the South Terrace among recent projects. Cliveden team are close-knit with a wonderful sense of community. The location is quiet, so you'll need your own transport to get here.

What you'll be doing

The facilities team at Cliveden is both reactive and proactive when dealing with the buildings, systems and all Health & safety aspects. No two days are the same, so your approach to office based and hands on tasks will need to be flexible and adaptable, whist using knowledge of conservation, risk, compliance and maintenance. 

You'll be working within the Facilities and Business Services team where you will gain support, training and knowledge along the way. You will manage a team member and a team of facilities volunteers.

Who we're looking for

  • An understanding of facilities management and maintenance requirements
  • Good experience of broad compliance and risk management, including knowledge of Health & Safety, CDM regulations, Emergency procedures and Fire & Security procedures.
  • Good people and customer service skills
  • Experience of managing budgets, finances, projects and contracts/contractors
  • Good IT skills
