Facilities Co-ordinator - Bristol

Summary

If you enjoy being part of a team which cares for and maintains buildings and their environment, working with others to ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone who works with or visits us, this role would be perfect for you.

The core tasks for this role support environmental and operational risk management for the Tyntesfield estate and the Bristol portfolio which includes Clevedon Court, Leigh Woods and various small countryside areas.

Salary: £20,124 per annum

Duration: Fixed Term Contract until 28th February 2023

What it's like to work here

Tyntesfield is a large and busy estate with a collection of visitor buildings plus other storage and office locations.  The core tasks for the Facilities Co-ordinator range across the estate and the role is therefore supported by a vehicle, however there is an expectation that the holder of the role will be fit and able to walk across the hilly estate when required to minimise vehicle movements in visitor areas. Travel will be needed to other areas of the portfolio at times or beyond for important training or meetings. The role also requires a generally good level of fitness for lifting and carrying, the ability to be first aid trained. Regular weekend working will be required but will be fairly shared within the team.

The 70-strong team at this spectacular Victorian estate have ambitious plans for growth and sustainability over the next few years. Tyntesfield’s excellent location just outside of Bristol means there is great scope to develop our visitor experience, and the team are encouraged to be forward thinking and creative in their approach.
