As part of our Facilities Management team, you'll report to the Facilities Manager and carry out and arrange maintenance and repairs, help with waste management and work to keep our places presentable and safe. Specific tasks will include emergency repairs (such as unblocking toilets, fixing doors), pre-planned maintenance (non-urgent repairs, upgrading facilities) and compliance checks (e.g. fire-alarm testing, emergency lighting checks, work place inspections).
You may also be required to cover some of the Area Ranger’s duties when they are not working. Tasks will include litter picking, emptying dog bins and assisting with coastal safety tasks.
Occasionally there may be opportunity to do some countryside management tasks (e.g. bird surveys, fencing repairs).
