Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per year

About Us: We are a boutique hotel nestled in the heart of the coastal town of Lymington, known for our exceptional service and unique charm. Our commitment to creating memorable experiences for our guests is at the core of what we do. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Reception Manager to join our team and lead our front desk operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of front desk professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Guest Relations: Build strong relationships with our guests, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Reservations Management: Oversee the reservation system to maximize room occupancy and revenue.
  • Check-In and Check-Out: Ensure efficient check-in and check-out processes, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Training and Development: Train new staff and facilitate ongoing training programs for front desk team members.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and organization at the reception area.
  • Budget Management: Assist in the management of the department's budget and monitor expenses.
  • Problem Solving: Resolve any guest or operational issues in a timely and effective manner.


  • Proven experience as a Reception Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software.
  • A customer-focused approach and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
