We are looking for an experienced, engaged and passionate Assistant Night Manager to deliver exceptional guest service.

As Assistant Night Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operational running of the whole hotel throughout the night. You will act as a Manager on Duty and be a point of contact for any issues or guest enquiries should they come up.

The role involves taking full responsibility for the hotel, guests and team members during the night shift. You will be responsible for checking guests in and out of the hotel, dealing with guest enquiries, team supervision and training, banking procedures, overseeing the nighttime cleaning and food and beverage operation, and also have security responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be warm and welcoming, providing the guest with an efficient and courteous welcome and departure, whilst also working behind the scenes to oversee the completion of nightly reports and prepare for the next day's arrival. Attention to detail, reliability and a customer focus are vital to your success in this role.

EXPERIENCE

  • Strong understanding of MEWS or similar reservation systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent leadership, written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Operational knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United Kingdom
