House Manager - Studland, Swanage
Job Type: Full Time - 40 hours per week
Location: THE PIG- on the beach, Studland, Dorset
About the role:
As House Manager you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of the hotel's front of house operations, enhancing the guest experience, and driving revenue growth.
Day to day you will ensure the smooth running of the hotel's daily operations and be able to effectively respond to guest's needs. You will have a strong focus on the development and growth of the HOD team and will be responsible for supporting, overseeing and co-ordinating the operation between; Reception, Guest Relations, Treatments, Housekeeping and Maintenance.
This is a hands-on operational role at the forefront of customer service and hospitality, you must be able to keep calm under pressure, make decisive decisions and be able to effectively complete tasks with attention to detail, meeting deadlines.
Through effective communication and organisation you will be leading the team with a passion for delivering both the ultimate and most memorable experiences for our guests.
Reporting directly to the Hotel Director and Deputy General Manager you will be the first point of contact for all queries and issues raised by guests or staff.
The progression path for this role is Deputy General Manager and Hotel Director. Candidates must be capable and confident enough to take on responsibility for the hotel during their shifts. You must also be confident in taking on Duty Manager shifts and be prepared and able to deal with incidents or emergency situations.
The ideal applicant will have a minimum of 3 years' experience within a hospitality management role and a strong understanding of guest relations and food & beverage operations. Previous exposure and demonstrable skills using OPERA, Fidelio desired. Training of all aspects and areas of the Hotel during an induction period will be provided to fully understand the day to day running of the hotel.
As an expanding group, this role will be best suited to a professional who is open to being challenged and has a desire to grow and develop within our company.
