The Dukes Bar has maintained all the character and ambience of the old coaching inn, with flagstone floors, inglenook fireplace and original beams. A well-stocked bar of real ale, beer, wine and spirits are on sale alongside the bar and snug menu, which is sure to have something to sate your hunger.

The Cellar
Located in the Basement of the Old Town Hall, The Cellar can offer a function space unlike no other in the Town. The space comprises of large entrance hall to meet and greet your guests, fully fitted bar, dance floor and DJ booth.
Depending on the time of your event, The Cellar benefits from it's own entrance where we can provide door staff for extra security.
This space is ideal for birthday parties, company celebrations and engagement parties.
The Ballroom
The historic Ballroom of the Old Town Hall has just undergone a complete refurbishment and with the high ceilings, lavish windows and grand entrance never fail to impress guests. There is maximum capacity of 200 guests and the room can be divided giving you the space that is suited for your event.
The venue also has a state-of-the-art AV and lighting system, creating the perfect combination of classic elegance with modern technology. Our on-site kitchen is at hand so we can deliver you and your guests an award winning meal if required.
Snug/Lounge
Pre-book a place in the Snug or Lounge and we will reserve a place for you. This is the ideal setting for afternoon Tea where you can coose from Tea or Coffee along with a selection of Chef’s finger sandwiches, freshly baked fruit scones with strawberry preserve and fresh dairy cream, a selection of Chef’s home-baked cakes and sweet pastries.
