We are the Alton Towers Resort and we are part of the magical Merlin Entertainments!

We are currently recruiting for Assistant Entertainment Company & Stage Managers to join us at the Alton Towers Resort, the UK's only attraction that specialises in making Britain happy!

In this role you'll assist the Entertainments Company & Stage Manager take day to day responsibility for the guest-facing delivery of all entertainment shows and performer based product, leading a team of exceptionally motivated and engaged actors, entertainers, performers and external acts.

You'll work closely with the Manager to deliver compelling shows and performance based products for the Resort. You'll use your exceptional people skills and a broad understanding of performance based products and shows.

The role is very demanding but very rewarding within a highly skilled and motivated Entertainments team.

We are looking for the following skills and experience:

• Exceptional people skills and an in-depth understanding of performance based products and shows
• The ability to communicate ideas in ways that appeal to different people
• Experience of managing a team of employees, including recruitment, motivation, performance management, and all other elements of team management
• Company and Stage Management experience
• Operational experience  
• Health and safety knowledge of the Entertainments industry
• The ability to give constructive feedback

Due to the fluctuating nature of our business, this role is offered on a permanent, guaranteed hour’s basis, and will include weekends and bank holidays as required.
