About the role...
You will oversee all aspects of the front of house such as guest registration, porter services, business centre, telephone services, concierge services and guest reservations during the night to deliver a guest experience that is unique and brings service excellence to life. You will also be responsible for ensuring the security, safety and wellbeing of all hotel staff, guests and visitors during the night shift. You will also be responsible for administrative duties such as daily banking prior to running the night audit.
You are required to project a positive and enthusiastic attitude at all times. You will be results orientated and commercially aware, as well as having excellent communication and leadership skills to influence and develop a team to achieve results. You will be able to make decisions under pressure while ensuring the best for the hotel and its staff. You need to be flexible and adaptable with patience and tact.
Hotel Indigo Edinburgh can be found on the world-famous Princes Street, while also being conveniently located adjacent to Waverley Mainline Train Station.
