Cunard - Communications Manager

Are you charismatic and a natural communicator who would be able to confidently liaise with shore and onboard departments to enlighten guests on promotions, the daily entertainment programme and upcoming events? Are you detailed orientated with experience proof reading? Are you disciplined to achieve deadlines? Do you build effective relationships with stakeholders to drive revenue? Do you pride yourself in being adaptable and composed during challenging situation ensuring brand consistency and quality?

If so you could be ideally suited to the Communications Manager position!
 

Key Responsibilities of a Communications Manager include:

  • Implement onboard communications strategy that meets corporate objectives and effectively communicates to all guest which is in line with the Cunard brand
  • Attend onboard revenue meetings to understand the full series of planned activities, promotions, passenger demographics and itineraries to effectively plan the programme for present and future cruises.
  • Produce other forms of information such as guest signage, hand outs, in-cabin television guides and welcome letters, as applicable. Coordinate guest information and templates received from shore side and disseminate to the relevant departments.
  •  Attend corporate sponsored social events as required.

To join Cunard in this fantastic role you must have the following:

  • Experience of working within a customer service environment and managing a small team
  • Experience of design software such as Indesign and Adobe
  • Experience of Video On Demand systems and digital signage an advantage
  • Experience of graphics programmes such as Photoshop, Quark or GIMP
  • Experience of working in visual marketing
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
