This is a key role in the front of house team, working to ensure that the people and processes in the Food & Beverage operations deliver a profitable customer experience, appropriate to Millennium and Copthorne Hotels at Chelsea FC. This role is a full time permanent position working 40 hours a week across any 5 of day days between the hours of 11pm- 7am

Main Responsibilities:

  1. To actively work towards delivering outlet targets and objectives including appearance and punctuality, service standards and outlet and product knowledge
  2. To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities which are requested by Supervisors and Hotel Management.
  3. To answer telephone calls promptly and correctly
  4. To attend any Training sessions as required.
  5. To be conversant with POS equipment
  6. Ensure that all guests receive prompt, friendly and efficient service in accordance with Company and service standards.
  7. To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance at all times.
  8. Be total conversant with the current Quality Standards and SOP Manuals to ensure all areas are operating appropriately.
  9. To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to colleagues.
  10. To do preventive maintenance of the equipment's and report any maintenance issues to management.
  11. To make sure that all F & B areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
  12. To behave at all times in a manner which projects a good Company image to colleagues and guests, and ensure safe, hygienic working conditions.
  13. To have full knowledge of all drinks and be able to explain them to the customer.
  14. To be familiar with all beverages available and in accordance with the Weights and Measures Act 1964.
  15. Adhere to all regulations in respect of Health, Safety, Hygiene, Guest Safety, Fire Regulations, Emergency Procedures etc.
  16. Greets all guests at the front door politely and courteously and guides them towards the reception desk or function rooms
  17. Attending to guest luggage (take bags to and from guests rooms), also taking them if requested, to the luggage store room.
  18. Ensures all guest property is safely handled and/or stored in the luggage room.
  19. Engages in moving luggage from one room to another in the case of a room move as per the procedure

Personal Specification:

  1. Valid working visa for the UK (at least 18 months)
  2. General knowledge of a hotel Restaurant, room service and Bar
  3. Excellent verbal communication skills
  4. Excellent customer care skills both face to face and telephone
  5. Experience of working in a busy environment
  6. Able to work shifts, nights and weekends as required
  7. Excellent presentation skills
  8. Able to work as a team player
  9. Self-motivated
  10. Ability to work on his/her own
