After 18 years or dedicated service our Executive Head Housekeeping has decided move onto pastures new which opens up a very rare opportunity to apply for this Senior Management role within our 106 bedroom, four AA Red Star Country House Hotel in the heart of Sussex.      

We are looking for an experienced Head Housekeeper to manage all aspects of the Housekeeping department and in house Laundry.  As a senior management position this role is also pivotal to the future development of Ashdown Park’s offering and will  assist the General Manager with the ongoing refurbishment and renovation projects across the property. We also have the added benefit of an established and dedicated Housekeeping team already in place who will be there to assist in the operation and any future development of department.

As Executive Housekeeper you will be responsible for standard of cleanliness and presentation within the 106 bedrooms and suites plus the extensive public spaces to include the lounges, bars, restaurants and country club. We also have a variety of private event spaces hosting wedding, meetings and private dinning celebrations, all of which need to be maintained to the highest level of presentation at all times.   

The Executive Head Housekeeper should be competent with Health and Safety regulations to ensure we are compliant at all times and be able to build strong business relationships with existing and new  suppliers to ensure they offer a consistent level of service and reliable delivery of their product.
