Stanbrook Abbey Hotel is recruiting for an experienced Deputy General Manager to join the Hand Picked Hotel team.

What does the role of Deputy General Manager involve?

As the Deputy General Manager you will seamlessly deputise for the General Manager and assist with the smooth day to day running of all Hotel operations.  

The Deputy General Manager will be an innovative individual with excellent leadership skills and a well-rounded knowledge of managing all hotel operations. This is not a first appointment role and will suit an experienced Deputy General Manager or Hotel Operations Manager with a strong Food & Beverage background.

To meet the challenge of this role you will have:

• 2 years’ experience working in the role of a similar size property at 4 red or 5 star level
• Strong Food & Beverage background to include volume and multi outlet experience
• Strong commercial acumen
• Experience of planning, developing and implementing new initiatives
• Up to date knowledge of statutory obligations
• A proven track record in exceptional service delivery and achieving goals and objectives
• Proficient in hotel software
