Housekeeping Team Leader - Wolverhampton - £19,000 - £21,000 per annum (Dependent On Experience)

Nuffield Health is Britain's largest not for profit healthcare business and we are currently seeking Housekeeping Team Leader at our Wolverhampton Hospital.

The Role

At the Nuffield Health we're committed to providing a standard of healthcare which is second to none. We are looking for a committed, flexible and reliable individual to ensure the provision of a high quality cleaning service.

The successful candidate will be expected to manage and work alongside the housekeeping and infection prevention team delivering a consistently high standard cleaning service to the hospital.

Your administration duties will include weekly staff rotas that will need to be produced and maintained, management of the stock ordering and control for the department, carrying out weekly cleanliness audits and acting on the results, as well as maintaining training records for the department.

The Housekeeping Team Leader will report to Matron and support the Housekeeping Team on a day to day basis to ensure the department is organized and meeting business requirements.

The Person

To succeed as a Housekeeping Team Leader you will:

  • Ideally have proven, demonstrable experience of leading cleaning staff

  • Be able to prioritise workloads to ensure that standards are upheld and continuity of service is maintained at all times.

  • Be a good communicator

  • Be able to work independently and possess strong team working skills.

  • Be enthusiastic and self-motivated and possess an eye for detail ensuring our customer experience is of the highest quality.

  • Preferably have previous experience of working within a hospital environment

  • Have good IT skills

  • Have customer care training experience.
