Shangri-La Hotel, At the Shard is looking for a resilient and passionate Duty Manager to oversee our Front Office divisionTaking inspiration from the spires of London churches and the masts of tall ships depicted by the 18th century Venetian painter Canaletto, Renzo Piano designed The Shard as a spire-like sculpture emerging from River Thames. Outstanding architecture and pure luxury is why up to six thousand people per day visit The Shard’s restaurants, bars and why tens of thousands visit the Shangri-La Hotel, located on level 34-52 of this magnificent building. Join us on our exciting journey to be the iconic property to visit whilst in London.

The Ideal candidate to fill the role will provide the highest level of support in terms of managing the Front Office team and the day to day operation, under the guidance of the Front Office Manager in accordance with the objectives, performance and quality standards established by Shangri-la Hotel & resorts.

The operation in the Shangri-La Hotel, At the Shard, London as you would expect, is very busy, and with The Shard, and The Shangri-La Hotel being two very iconic buildings in London you can understand why we attract millions of people a year through our doors.

Essential Requirements

  • At least 2 years as Guest Service Team Leader in international class hotel
  • Superior organisation and administration skills coupled with the ability to multi task and set priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Be highly organised and a reliable individual who is self-motivated, standards & customer service driven and detail orientated.
  • Advanced level of English (both oral and written)
