We are currently seeking a passionate Night Team Leader to join the team here at The Carlton Tower Jumeirah.

About the role

As a Night Team Leader you will supervise and train housekeeping team whilst assisting in all the Housekeeping Operations to the highest standard.

• To ensure that all work schedules are followed through efficiently and in line with forecasted occupancy, including out of order and out of service rooms.
• To be responsible for the worksheet assigned and ensure that all requests are correctly logged.
• To thoroughly inspect designated rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure the smooth operation and efficiency in the hotel.
• To be constantly aware of the room status and to obtain maximum vacant clean rooms for sale.
• To ensure all storage areas are kept clean, neat, and tidy always.
• To record activities/issues and follow up work as necessary in the handover book. 
• To ensure that all maids cupboards are always sufficiently stocked and in good presentation. To provide weekly stock reports of usage to office coordinator. 
• To inspect corridors, back areas, staircase, and store cupboards and report any cleaning or maintenance required.

The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:

• Ideally experience in a similar position within a luxury 5 star environment is desirable
• Current experience within a hotel or similar environment
• Be able to demonstrate experience within the purchasing department
• Excellent level of English
• Excellent communicator and able to connect with all levels in the business with the ability to motivate your colleagues.
• Effective organisational skills; able to prioritise tasks and self-manage a workload
• Excellent personal presentation with a warm and welcoming personality.
• Friendly, approachable and professional
• Have a strong eye for detail
