I started working at The Coniston Hotel in 2004 as a receptionist and have worked in various roles since then before securing my role as Guest Services Manager in 2017.

It is a pleasure to work for the Bannister family who share my passion for delivering excellent customer service to all guests from the point of booking up until their departure and ensuring all guests feel valued enough to return time and time again.

I am responsible for ensuring our reservations team, hotel reception and spa reception are consistently delivering our core values and striving to exceed customer expectations.

I am a wedding coordinator and have been at the Coniston Hotel Country Estate and Spa for 6 months.

The most interesting thing about working here is meeting lots of different people, from our brides and grooms to our wedding suppliers. The best part of my job is getting to know our couples, their love story and finding out exactly what they want for their big day.

Complimentary staff lunches are always lovely. Being part of the Coniston team is fantastic, everyone is very supportive and makes you feel welcome from the first time you walk through the doors – it really is like one big family.

We work as a team to deliver the best wedding day for every couple through our close attention to detail and our “can do – will do” attitude. These are fundamental company values that guide us.

If I were to give one piece of advice to anyone wanting to apply to The Coniston Hotel Country Estate and Spa is,  do your preparation and research the company and values beforehand so that you shine in your interview!

When I tell people about my job, they are surprised by the level of detail that we go into when planning a couples big day. From watching the weather to ensuring the timing is right for a confetti photo, we always go the extra mile for our couples.
